The Center for Integrative Medicine (CIM) at the George Washington University Medical Center offers a variety of complementary and alternative therapies within a peaceful environment to promote healing and wellness. As an integrative center, we combine alternative treatments with conventional medicine, our practitioners work collaboratively, and we partner with patients to create individualized programs of care for body, mind and spirit. Chiropractic at CIM is used to treat pain in the back, shoulders, head and extremities. It may also have an effect on conditions such as hypertension and other systemic problems. Patients without complaints may also be treated with chiropractic in order to enhance and maximize relaxation, range of motion and general well-being.
